Bobby Flay, because I could learn so much from him. I already have 3 of his cookbooks. Trained in traditional french cuisine, he now cooks a southwestern style. His recipes have just the right amount of spice so that you know it's there but it doesn't burn your mouth.
Runner-up. Alton Brown. The guy is so knowledgeable. He not only knows how to prepare food but also why each method actually works.
