Being made an example of???? Didn't a mob of rangers supporters attack the Villareal bus not long ago??? Most rangers supporters are nothing but a bunch of violent, thugging neds. Bloody hell, a pal of someone I know was attacked and knifed after an OF game and that was after rangers WON!! I could go on and on and on about the different incidents that have involved rangers and/or their supporters. I'm not saying that Celtic supporters are all angels and we have our fair share of neds too BUT 80,000 supporters went to Seville and NOT ONE arrest!!! Celtic are invited to friendlies all over the world because the majority of supporters are decent people. We were awarded the Fair Play Award for having the best behaved supporters.
FIFA/UEFA are investigating which are sectarian-content songs at Celticpark, so don't worry. And maybe instead of whinning about why you feel you're being "picked on", maybe you should open your eyes and look around you. Read your "wee blue book" from the Dundee United match today and learn some new songs.

There is a new code of conduct worldwide which takes in fan behavoiur and sectarian/racist chants. Small & big teams are affected, both sides of any derby. I even hear Ajax & Feyenoord risk UEFA expulsion if theres a riot between fans again, the last being at a RESERVE match! Its a bit unfair though that UEFA delegates have picked the Old Firm match in a couple of weeks to see how the singing is, its obviously going to happen and their just out to fine the teams again - deservedly - but a bit unfair.

Are you Ingerlish by any chance ? They're good at blaming other people when they're in the wrong, ******** ! You said that it's a group of Irish supporters coming over and singing all the songs. What a plank ! The majority of people at Old Firm games are Scottish and a fair majority of them are the ones singing songs. Granted, the minority are singing secterian rubbish, on both sides, but the majority of singers are Scottish. You really should get out more bumrag !

These should be banned from both stadia. In my experience Rangers fans are a lot more bigoted than Celtic fans.
For inastance, what the fcuk has 1690 to do with football?

It is not only Ibrox where they are banned. They are banned at all grounds in Scotland and in fact at the grounds of all clubs who fall within the UEFA jurisdiction.

It is definately fair that the songs have been banned. They should be from both stadiums. Its a game of football for heavens sake. Nothing more nothing less.

a minority of fans come from ireland with day tickets and see it as a way to spout their bile as secterianism and bigotry is still rife there but they bring it to our shores.thats not to say all scottish old firm fans are innocent in singing these songs which have no place in our football society.c`mon the hoops!!!
