Spread propaganda to minimalize thier hatred of thier enemy. Make them doubt thier reason for being there. Make them feel like theyre in an unfair situation as far as supplies and extent of duty. Demonize them to other countries. Play up incidences of abuse and civillian casualties. Make them lose faith in thier commanders and thier units. Make them homesick to the point that they hate where they are and they hate that they ever signed on. Demonize them and separate them from thier own people in thier own land by spreading a campaign of peace, free sex, rampant drug use, and anti government speech.

Talk up the idea that you support the troops but oppose the war. Do a big count down every time a soldier is killed and make a big deal about the number of casualties every time a milestone is reached, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500.
Give their enemies moral support by looking for atrocities committed by solders, the mistreatment of prisoners. Ignore the mistreatment and murder of American soldiers. Show off pictures of dead civilians killed by accident, dead soldiers being dragged through streets, and flagged draped coffins arriving in the U.S. What ever you do don't so pictures of terrorist beheading their prisoners or never ever show pictures of all the people leaping to their deaths out of the WTC as it burned.
But really you don't have to do anything the media is doing all this for you. What you should wonder if the soldiers go on strike do you really think the terrorist are just going to leave you alone.
After all their stated goal requires your death.

Most soldiers are proud to be doing what they are, some are disappointed because they're not over there fighting for what they believe in and have been trained to do. You can't bring down a soldiers morale, you can try what you want, but expect to be knocked into the next millennium for what you say.
Rose is right, have you thought about this, with out our military you'd have no right to be as dumb as you are, I'm sorry I also work for the government and I'd say that us Americans need to put our guard back up, they will try to attack again, history repeats itself, so do you want the military to strike now, it be your sorry but fending for itself not people you don't know or give a rats *** about.

boymv21.......You absolutely named yourself right.
How can you sit and hide behind a keyboard? If you truly want to bring down our soldiers why don't you get your butt out on the street and protest and let the world know what you feel? Ask Ms. Sheehan how that feels. She has become the laughingstock of America. At least she had the gumption to state her opinion in public on the street.
I would love to know if you had a father, mother, grand father or any number of great grand fathers serve in the US Military. Well I did and I am ashamed of you!!!!
Morale is about all our service women and men have when they spend time away, ...."protecting your sorry butt", .... from their children, wives and families. They spend 24/7 risking their lives for you and me.
I truly hope you are just young and ignorant! There's something you should think about though.....What would happen if a family member or close friend had to go to war? Would you have asked the same question?
God Bless all our Troops and you.
Go ROSY...liked your answer!

Well, for starters, you have, in principle, committed sedition. By advocating a "strike" by members of the Armed Forces, you are committing sedition. That being said, we're a "kinder, gentler" nation, and don't hang people for it, nor do we often prosecute people for it, either.
That being said, all of the members of our Armed Forces volunteered for service. Plus, the war on terror has been going on since 2002, so they knew what they were getting into when they joined. Most initial enlistments are three-four years.
Reading from various soldiers' blogs from Iraq, I see that their morale is actually quite high. I doubt that anything could bring their morale down. That is, unless the US pulls a stunt and withdraws politically from the battle before the mission is accomplished. You know, like Somalia, and Viet Nam?

To use a soldier as a pawn to end a war, when they are already being exploited already, isn’t the most ethical thing to do. The best way to end the war is marshal up a grass roots movement that seeks to oust pro-war politicians during election time, who don’t give specific timetables for the removal of our troops from Iraq.
Don’t attack the victims of our war; attack those who were the architects of the Iraqi conflict.

Contrary to popular opinion soldiers don't really care what you think. They have real problems to deal with. They will however ,once the war is over reflect on you from time to time. If one of your ilk runs for office (outside the state of California) they will not vote for you. You will end up having a "Kerry" done to you.
Been there , done that, different time.
In every war there are people like you ,they cost many lives, American lives , by inspiring the enemy to continue. Someday when soldiers have the spare time to ponder idiots , they will think of you.

Simple, let them listen to liberal twaddle about how they are killing babies (John Kerry) and fighting for daddy Bush's lost war instead of letting them see what they actually are seeing in Iraq. It really seems strange that the soldiers I personally know say the moral over there is good and they believe in what they are doing as opposed to what liberals keep spewing. I think the libs are mad because they didn't get to save a country.

YOU DONT BRING OUR SOLDIERS DOWN! WE ARE MEANT TO FIGHT THAT IS WHAT WE ARE TOUGHT TO DO MAN! I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE DONT GET THAT PART OF THE MILITARY WE ARE TRAINED TO DO A JOB AND WEATHER OR NOT THE PUBLIC LIKES IT DOESNT REALLY MATTER WE ARE GIVEN ORDERS BY COMMANDER AND CHIEF( BUSH) AND WE "ROGER UP" TO THOSE ORDERS.
I WISH YOU GUYS/GALS WOULD STOP TRYING TO MAKE IT SOUND LIKE THE WAR IS SO BAD IT'S SOMETHING THAT HAS TO BE DONE AND TRUST ME YOU WOULD BE WORSE OFF IF THEY STRUCK US AGAIN OR THE WAR WAS ON OUR HOME DERF! SO WITH THAT SAID YOU CANT AND WONT AND SHOULDNT WANT TO BRING OUR MORAL DOWN! I WILL TELL YOU THAT IT'S EASIER FOR US TO EXCEPT YOUR SUPPORT THAN TO KEEP SAYING " OH STOP THE WAR IT'S KILLING OUR MEN/WOMEN" LET US DO WHAT WE WANT AND SUPPORT US TRUST ME WE KNOW WHAT WE ARE DOING!

I think this is one of the craziest ideas I've ever heard...
(Whoever whoever said listen to the media, that is a good point), but really, don't bring morale down, it's not a smart idea. They wanna get out just as much as we wanna see them get out & there's no sense spending all that time up till that point of leaving with bad morale.
