Ok this is a very complicated matter. Don't worry only REALLY bright people know this. So when a cat eats, the food goes into the stomach to get digested. Then it goes to the intestines, and the nutrients is given to the body so the cat has energy. Then, the waste has nowhere to go so it goes through the large intestine and out the anal opening as POOP. JUST LIKE US. JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER MAMMAL ON THIS PLANET. Now I have wasted my time explaining to you why cats poop. Which a five year old knows.

Now this question is such a waste of energy to answer but here goes. There's a book in the Library that is called everything Poops, get it read it, oh yes it would be found in the childrens department. Is it that you are constipated and can't make reasonable inquiries that you ask such a worthless question?

The digestive process starts when a cat eats food then it decides which vitamins in the food are healthy and the rest, well, what comes in must come out!!!!!

It keeps them from blowing up and spreading cat guts all over the walls and ceiling. However, if they put cat gut on string instruments, then it's OK.....
