my dvd player is frreezing up and not working well I think it needs to be cleaned what is the easiest cheapest way to do this?

It may be most cost-effective just to upgrade your DVD player.

Don't use the cleaning CD, as it may missalign your optical disc player's laser mechanisim. Rather, get a can of spray air (you can find this at any store that sells computer accessories) and blow out any dust the unit may have inside.

Normally, if you're experiencing skipping and misreading of the disc, it's probably about time to replace the player, unless it's under warranty or was very expensive.

There are also disc cleaners for improved sound as well...

There's special CD you can put in there to clean it out, should be cheap to buy

dvd cleaner disc would b ur best bet.
