First of all, the above posters are wrong- totally false information!!

There is NO cure for HCV unless, by chance you are the lucky 15% of the "over 4 million" infected who can actually fight the virus off.

Second of all, the only thing that can possibly cure you is Antivrial Chemotherapy. Depending on your genotype, will depend on your sustained viral response, if at all any. But, there is hope. 50 to 85% of those who do antiviral chemotherapy have a SVR beyond a year after chemo, most doctors will say you are cured.

Herbs, Urine Therapy, Ozonic Therapy (Oxygen Therapy) are all a hoax.
Many who say they are cured is because some treatments interfere with true lab readings. They can also cause the ALT and AST levels in your blood to be within normal limits, however, that just means that it worked on those levels, NOT the virus in any way shape or form, except maybe cutting down on the quasispecies of HCV.

Do you breath everday? Do our bodies already thrive on Oxygen?

If someone claims Ozone therapy cure HCV, don't you think you'd of been cured already just be breathing?

I would also like to tell you that HCV is not considered an STD, nor is it easy to acquire from sexual intercourse.

HCV can be a life long disease, mainly those who opt for herbal treatments and the like, but the virus is still doing damage.
There are so many quasispecies of this virus floating around in your system, your system is confused and can't possibly battle ALL of them. Just as your body figures out the first batch to fight it, the second changed strain is being sent out, then a third and a fourth and so on.....Not one fool proof way of a cure out there for all genotypes concerned, but your best bet is antiviral chemotherapy.

Don't waste your wallet and possibly your life on any unproven method of treatment...that includes herbs, urine therapy, flushes, juices....it all literally goes down the toilet.

HCV is a serious disease that many have and don't even know they have it.

Hepatitis C is a lifetime disease. Once you get it you will always have it and can pass it on to other people via sex.
