I just find it amusing, for example how fundies deny evolution because it has not been 'completely' proven, yet are willing to accept any crackpot idea that seemingly agrees with their preconceived ideas...ie dinosaurs coexisting with humans, fossils deposited by the devil, radiometric dating not reliable due to worldwide flood, rock formation that is Noah's ark...The list is long, but you get the point. Why do they have this selective delusional belief system when it comes to evidence?

I know that the these things are not true, because there is no evidence to support any of these ideas. Instead all the available information refutes most of these things. It's just that it refutes the Bible's ideas so the fundies call it lies, and make up their own 'truth'.

Obviously you are purposefully ignoring the intelligent fundies that may have answered your questions. Who is being selective now?

I am a christian and I believe in evolution, but not the evolution view point from an atheist. We believe the "holy texts" as you put it because we experience it over our lives. We tried Jesus and found Him true. Evidence is biased and can be twisted from any ones view point. You say there's evidences of atheistic evolution, I can also say there are evidences of creationist evolution, only depends on a person to see or accept reasonings, ideas, proof, ect. from different sides. There are many things that are written or branded out there that could feed our beliefs (yours and mine) and it also takes faith to believe in one so I just go by "crackpot" (as you put it) because I tried it and found it to be true.

It is unfortunate, but any person "stuck" in a religion or dogmatic belief system is just that...stuck...they seek no truth past the noses they were born with, hence also stifling their spirit growth.....however, this is o.k....just fine...because we are also not here to judge their experience in the matter...few know their own purpose, let alone that of another.
It would be most excellent if people could see the simplicity in the co-existence that is created by both evolution--the natural growth process of the world(s) we humanly live in, and spirituality--the natural being process of our real Selfs.

Wa alaikum as salaam, no person quite knows the respond of this one different than the Almighty-All Knower- Allah. and that i think of extremely human beings attempting to think of what Allah might intend, it quite is impossible with our little and corrupted iman and ilm, i think of we'd desire to continuously be traumatic approximately not being people who might stay in Hell. it quite is like imagining how might one rejoice after exams whilst he has no clue what so ever if he's even gonna bypass. Allah knows appropriate :)

How do you know that those things aren't true? Is there some kind of proof that "fundies" have been missing?

They are delusional, you already said it. They can demand hard evidence to prove a claim as long as it's not their claim. And they're satisfied and happy with that.
