Well.. you are wording your question funny..

BUT....

A U.S. House of Representatives term is 2 years.. He is up for re-election every 2 years...

If you mean Term- Limits.. as to how many times they can be voted into office there are currently no mandated term limits.. meaning that if the Representative runs for reelections and the voters in their district keep voting them into office then yes, they could be there a long time.

One term in the U.S. House of Representatives is two years. There are no term limits, however, so a congressman can get re-elected as many times as the people keep voting him back into office. Yes, that can mean for life. Some congressmen promise to limit the number of times they'll serve before they voluntarilly seek not to run again.

In the early 1990's there was a popular push to impose congressional term limits on a state-by-state basis, but the Supreme Court ruled that states laws concerning U.S. congressmen were unconstitutional.

Representatives are elected for a two year term in the House. There are no Federal term limits so representatives may be reelected as many times as they can convince the voters to do so.

The members of the House of Representatives serve 2 year terms. There are no term limits- they can run for re-election for as long as they are elected. The elections run on even years. So, there is another election this year- in November.
