I eat a lot, lots of protiens, good carbs, fruit , veggies, I eat more then 3 meals a day and have snacks every two hours. I am small person in stature and my bones are small, and but I need more food then some of my guy friends that are 6'4 and 200 + lbs, if I don't eat enough, I will get shakey and light headed. I don't even go to the gym, and still I my body needs large amounts of food. I drink protien drinks as well. My father has this same problem, he is also not a big person who doesn't weigh that much.

Fast metalbolism, it's not diabetes, but it could be hypoglycemia. I would go to your Dr. have have it check out.

This isn't what many would consider a problem but a gift. It sounds like u have a naturally high metabolism due to genes being passed down and your body is simply burning those calories like crazy if u aren't gaining weight. Whole grains and vegetables help to control hunger and u can eat what your body tells u it needs as long as it is healthy and not just empty calories.

Fast metabolism probably. Your age might have something to do with it too. If it's not harming you in any way and your body is wanting that diet, then continue on. Nothing wrong. Be a bit thankful for it too b/c most of us can only eat so much and that ****** sucks.

Wish I knew, but I have the same situation. I have friends that tell me if they ate what I eat that they'd weigh 300 pounds. At 5' I weigh 96. Enjoy the fact that you can and stick to your healthly eating habits.

its wrong to assume that big people have slow metabolic rates in fact there almost always higher because they need to sustain large organs.............. Fact your an animal.fact your body will never tell you to stop eating high proteins it need them for the lean winter times. Condition your body to surviving on what it needs not what it think it needs. Don't let this turn you into an old man

If you feel bored and want to eat don't try to find something else to do instead (a walkaround the block or a trip to the gym are good alternatives)

Hey, me too. From what i read it could be hypoglycemia and/or an extremely high metabolism. i think i have both and i get shaky and lightheaded too, even if ive eaten a meal a couple of hours prior.

possibly you both may have diabetes, or low/high blood sugar. My da has it, and before he knew he did he was hungry and thirsty all the time, and he had to go to the bathroom alot. he was losing weight also, so maybe this is the problem.or maybe just a really good metabolism!!

Have you had bloodwork done? It could be that your motabolism is very high (for which many of us would be jealous LOL). I assume if you're father is like this he's been checked, so it may just be a genetic trait of your family --

my advice: always have snacks handy

Your metabolism must burn food alot quicker than other people's bodies. And when you get shaky it's because you need to eat and your body is letting you know.
