Bordetella is for kennel cough, if you have her around other dogs then yes she will need this yearly.
Distemper is a yearly shot and that is required in most states.
Corna vaccine Is to protect your dog against the west nile virus.
Heart worm test if you have her on heart worm preventive all year round you will only need to get her tested every other year.
If you only keep her on heart worm preventive durring the summer months then you will need to get her tested every year before you put her back on the preventive. Before you put her on the preventive for the first time you will need to get her tested to see that she doesn't have heart worms. If she is heart worm free then you can give her the preventive, I like to use revelution. If she has heart worms then you will have to treat the heart worms before you give her the preventive. Good luck

I've been doing lots of research on vaccines and how most of our pets are over vaccinated. There is lots of controversy going on right now on this subject and new information is being found all the time. What the vaccine companies don't want pet owners to know is that most of the yearly vaccines we've been giving our pets have been found to last a minimum of 7 yrs and a maximum of 15 yrs (so far). Lots of animals have been developing cancers at the injection sites from being over vaccinated. My dogs are only given their full set of puppy shots and then I give them their one year boosters. After that they receive no other vaccines except for the rabies shot every 3 yrs (and only because it is required by law). My philosophy is this: We only receive our immunizations as infants and young children and these last us our lifetime, why would our pets immune systems be any different??? If you'd like to look up this subject on your own and come to your own conclusion I suggest you Google Over vaccinating our pets. I believe that the risk of yearly vaccinations outways the risk of my pets getting sick because they're not vaccinated yearly. I feed my dogs an excellent high quality food to help keep their immune systems in tip top shape and have never had a problem with them catching anything.
But like I said try Googling Over Vaccinating our pets, and then you can come to your own conclusions as to what you want to do to protect your babies.

It is very important to booster the first set of vaccines!!!! Do not believe the crap most people will say about not vaccinating, because they do not have the facts. I am a veterinarian and say if you want to take care of your animal to the best of your abilities, then yes vaccinate and definitely check for heartworms!! Heartworms are internal, within the heart and lungs and will kill a dog or cat. It is 100% preventable with medication though.
Have a frank discussion with your vet about the facts.

Yep yep, if your vet sent you a reminder then yes your dog does need his vaccinations and wormings... You have to go every year because it keeps the stuff topped up in your dogs system. Leave it too long and your vet has to start the cycle all over again.

Yes, you need them.
Espoecially the heartworm test.
After you got on the heartworm meds you waon't need a test every year,
and most dogs who are not in doggie day care or boarded often do fine with vax every other year.
But keep up to date on the heratworm meds!

Generally your vet will send you out a card when it's time for her booster shots, but i would ask your vet just to be safe.
If they want to do a heartworm test on her, let them. You can't be too careful with your pets health.

you as a dog owner should get her vaccines yearly and make sure as a puppy that she got the whole series of vaccine or she may not be immune to sickness/disease.

if the vet is saying she does...then she does...usually the shots given to them in the early months only last until they are a year old

maybe, when was the last time you took her to the vet because if it was more than a year ago you might want to take her in now if she is around other pets in or out side your home.
