ahhhh im so mad! advice?

my idiot of a brother is soooooo mean to me! he makes up stuff and makes me look like an idiot in front of my parents. they are always on his side.juat a few seconds ago he barged into my room when my door was shut and started looking at my emails. i pushed him out and my parents got mad at ME! he plays my games while i am gone, but if i do the same he will get really mad at me. so will my parents. im furious!!!!

Ok look I can tell you from experience that this situation sucks. I have a younger sister and she used to get all the attention and blame me for everything also. The only thing you can do honestly and unfortunately is find different ways to deal with it. Probably one of the worst things to do is retaliate though because not only are you dealing with your brother getting back at you, but also your parents. There really is no one way to deal with this. You can try talking to your parents, you can try avoiding your brother. Those are just minor things but eventually the problem is going to come to a head and something will need to be done. All I can tell you , and I know its hard, is be patient. This will eventually end and you will be stronger for going through it.

If you wanted to be treated like a mature person, you must act like one. If you want your parents to understand how frustrating it is when your brother is in butthead mode, you must approach them CALMLY, not screaming and yelling.

As for your brother...get used to it. Chances are he is just wanting your attention. Why don't you take a break every now and then and DO SOMETHING WITH HIM. Would it kill you to play a game with him? As for him reading your emails...try talking to him, and telling him that its just not cool. I bet if you could give him a bit of time out of your day, he would chill a bit.

Good luck. I know it will be a drag to hang out with him, even for a little bit, but it won't kill you. When you are both adults, you will thank me for this piece of advice. Keep in mind that there may come a time when you two are older that YOU WILL NEED HIM for something. So don't be too fast to shut him out.

Just wait until some time when he has done something that you know about. Don't tell on him. Make a deal with him, that if he quits making your life miserable, you will keep his secret. In order to find out the goods on him, though, you have to be kinda sneaky, too. Keep your cool. It works better that way. Lots of times, parents just favor the one who doesn't moan and cry all the time. I've been guilty of that. So zip the lip, and wait.

fill a squirt gun with hot sauce and spray him ur gonna get in trouble anyways make it worth the punishment. No u better not but made ya laugh. Brothers are just annoying creatures it's in their nature one day it will stop and he/ you will be gone then what r u gonna do cry because noone is giving you a hard time trust me u will eventually miss it now it's just annoying. I got two brothers and they always give me a hard time, as the way yours give for you, all I have to say is tell your parents ,and hopefully all will be figured out. and don't forget "boys will be boys"

I have the same problem. I put a lock on my door and I lock it when I am in there and when I leave the room. You should do the same thing it will just git worst.

Stop throwing tantrum's first, walk up to your parents in a calm adult way and firmly but calmly tell them how this is making you feel.

maybe your brother is trying to get your attention? do you ignore him alot? sometimes negative attention is better than none....maybe you could try doing things with your brother occasionally....go out to eat and talk or do something the two of you like to do?
