Nothing. He's a man, he knows. He probably did what he would have liked his dad to do in a case like this. You'll laugh at it together at your wedding!!

Not wear sweatpants. They don't hide *****s very well.

Try making a cheap joke. Your dad, being the elder, should have done this to try to make you feel at ease. There is nothing wrong with it, it's all part of the coming-of-age thing. They can happen at unfortunate times. Be glad it was in the car and with only your dad. There's always the proverbial in-the-middle-of-class-and-getting-called-to-stand-up-in-front thing, that's always unfortunate!

You know, I am sure that your dad was there a time or two when he was younger. I doubt he expected any explanation from you, it probably just caught him off guard. If it continues to bother you, maybe you could ask him if anything like that had ever happened to him, just to break the ice.

How did this help you in researching your genealogy?
Is this technique really helpful for going through court records?
Does it point to the right book for you to look in?
