I have been told that WWatcher style diets never really work because people always put the weight back on, is this true? How is this avoided?

Also, is there any way to avoid being really tired whilst dieting?

Weight Watchers works great! It's putting all that food back in their mouths after the weight is gone that creates the failure. It's not the diet, it's the lack of it that is the culprit. It's avoided by staying on the maintenance diet forever.

To avoid being really tired while dieting, eat a good balance of fruits and veggies for lots of energy. And drink lots and lots of water. You shouldn't feel tired at all.

Dieting in general, is bad for us. Learning to eat healthy is the best thing we can do for our bodies. Just learn to eat 3-5 small meals throughout your day. Who cares how many calories are in them. Eat portion sizes, aka, small. It keeps the metabolism going and going and in the long run, not only will you manage to lose weight to a healthy level (considering you do exercise at least 5 days a week too), but you'll form a healthy eating habit for life.

Like any diet u have to continue to eat healthy or u will put the weight back on. Fatigue during can be reduced by eating more carbohydrates from whole grains but u have to burn them with exercise and in a few weeks u will have more energy than u ever could have imagined.

Keep this meal between 400 and 600 calories. Serve yourself a smaller sized portion, so if you like coming back again for seconds, you'll just wind up eating a normal-size portion.

Yeah, and I know what you mean.
I suggest only drinking water and then counting calories as well as getting a membership to a local gym and getting daily exersice.

Instead of cream cheese or butter with bread or bagels, spread almond or perhaps peanut butter. The healthy fats satiate hunger which enables it to decrease belly fat.

Use fruit to add natural sweetness as an alternative to white sugar. Try this muffin menu.

If you're constantly yearning high-sugar, high-fat foods, it may mean you should eat more protein.
