ok i have dark brown almost black hair and i want to give myself highlights, red ones. I dont want to go into a salon and pay for an expensive treatment. Are there any cheap highlights to get at the drugstore or a natural at home solution? i prefer the natural at home solution

ok honey, i have been a hairstylist for 15 years, go to the salon! trust me, here is the logic of hair, you have to use a chemical solution to lighten it, you are going to end up with orange hair if you mess around with a hilite kit, if you want just a few red tones in your hair and you must do it at home get "color" not hilite pick a color thats only 2 shades lighter than your natural color, anything lighter is going to give you a orange tone, pluse keep in mind that color does fade, if you dont use the right shampoo, it will fade to a orangy color, that is just the law of dark brown hair, you will spend twice as much getting your hair straitend out, just let your hairstylist do it.
