I'm tired of seeing, "Where can I get 'this type of application' free? Just buy software once in a while. It's not the worst thing and normally they are better quality than free software that you spend hours looking for,

BECAUSE MOST OF THE PEOPLE LOOKING FOR THE SOFTWARE ARE KIDS BETWEEN 10 - 14 AND THEY CANT AFFORD IT. AND FOR THOSE FEW THAT CAN THEY RATHER SPEND IT ON SOMETHING ELSE. KIDS THAT AGE DON'T REALLY APPRECIATE QUALITY.

There is some great free software out there (thanks to conradj213 for the great examples). If you are a swapper, you can head to the news groups and make trades as well.

People will spend time looking for deals or freebies and the time can be well spent if they can find what you they looking for.

In my case, I do like to work with the real stuff because my income is dependent upon the best tools I can acquire. But, I'm talking about tools above and beyond internet surfing, email, anti virus & spyware, audio and video editors. I need tools that assist me in my business and these software applications are in most cases proprietary.

Most of the time, you get what you pay for.

How about this---You may have money but some people dont. Like me i dont, i have 2 kids to spend it on. They need to eat but i am also fortunate enough to have a good computer that works great and the only thing paid for on here is windows. So if you think this is a stupid answer then thats what you get. ASK AN EXTREMELY STUPID QUESTION GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER. Thank you and bye.
