I have a history of sinus problem and i will be tavelling to Nepal soon. Any tips to prevent mountain sickness?

Some people are more susceptible than others... drink lots of water- the dry air will dehydrate you... take your sinus pills with you.... I don't know the altitude in Nepal (i usually start feeling woozy at 8000-9000 ft) or how long you are staying there- your body will eventually adjust (could take a few days to months). If you are hiking or anything like that- take your time and go up slowly. If you feel sick, go back down if you can. Main thing- drinks lots of water.... Good luck!

The only way I know of is to breathe 100% oxygen, which really isn't practical for an extended trip. Other than this, if you are suseptible to it then I do not know how you will avoid it other than not going.
