I just noticed my one cat has black bugs but they dont look like fleas.Well not of the pics I ve seen so I was wondering can the carry other bugs?

these are black almost look like small beetles.Run fast but I can kill them with my finger and I have not found many.He is not itchy or are my other cats.

Yes - ticks, lice, mite, and tapeworms all love to make a cat their home. There are over-the-counter treatments available for most of these varments, but ear mites should be be treated by a trained vet.

Cats can carry ticks, fleas, lice and mites. I think what you see are mites, but that would depend on what area of the cat you found those one.

Ticks are possible. If they are as big as a grain of rice, it could be ticks. Of course there are plenty of pests and blood-drinking bugs that could latch onto any animal. I would check with your vet. They may be able to identify the bugs and then the source of them.

ye they can actually carry different bugs you may take it to the vatto get it checked out and try giving it a ab bath and see if you can get a better lok whe the fur is wet
if you have a slight i dea ask your vet or a friend you'll find help

Sure that's what their fur is for! But the parasites, ticks, mites and fleas will hang in there longer, breeding.

the answer is yes. ticks wouldn't move around that much, but there a many types of parasites our there, so take him/her to the vet at once.
