ok i have this relationship with this guy but ive never met him im 15 hes 17 he goes to my school and he use to go out with my best friend ive seen pictures of him but hes already seen me in personand schols about to start wat if i think hes ugly do i go by that or do i go by the fact that we have a good realtionship so far idk wat to do please help me!!!!

Girl looks matter to an extent. I mean you need to be attracted to someone when your in a relationship, i dont care who denies it. You say you seen pictures but then question whether he's ugly? You mean if he's ugly in person? If he looks good now I doubt he'll look that bad in person. But honestly, if you just find him repulsive after meeting him, dont just be with him like that because your just going to be with him out of pity and just out of the fact you have a good relationship with him. Because once you find him not as attractive as you might like him to be, you automatically dont have a good relationship anymore because your attitude changes. But if you really like him, he'll look good to you no matter what, even if he's kind of on the ugly side! Lets hope not.
But if your saying your bestrfiend dated him, maybe you should pseak to her and im pretty sure she knows what type of guys you might like..........if you trust her opinion then go for it. But if you seriously think that you might not like him and that might change your persepctive on him, meet up before school starts....so you can make your decisions then instead when your at school which can possibly make the rest of your school year devasting!

Firstly, your spelling and grammar lead me to wonder if you do indeed attend school...
And in answer to your question, it depends on what type of relationship you want...
People in amateur radio, for example, have many great contacts on a global basis, or, in international corporations - where people foster good friendships via telecommunications to offices in other countries, but they never actually meet.
If your looking for love etc, then you simply must meet first, and like their appearance (style, figure, voice, etc) also, imagine settling down with someone ugly, you'd have to wake up to it for years! Ha ha.
And then, I remember how young you are....don't take it all too seriously....

well if you really like the way he is and you like his personality you wont care about his looks! just think that you have a good relationship so far and you cannot break up with him because of his looks because you choose to be with him without knowing how he looks!
