I'd strongly recommend you change your mind about this kitten, and wait till you can get one from a home that knows what they're doing.
6 weeks is 2 weeks too early to let the kittens go. Pups and kittens need to play with others so that they know how to behave as adults. 6 weeks is too young to suddenly wean a kitten.
If the breeder is that clueless its unlikely that the mother was wormed or de-flead, so the kitten probably already has a belly full of worms, but its too young for the vet to treat.

I don't know what you mean by jags. But a kitten should be at least 8 weeks old and able to eat kitten food bfore it leaves the mother. There are several reasons for this some being that if you take them away sooner, they may not learn to preperly use the litterbox or they may turn out socially inept. If you can wait til 8 weeks I recommend it. If not, give her lots of love and attention. I got my little Dinah a year ago & it was torture waiting the full 8 weeks!!!!
