In my opinion, yes, they do taste a bit like chicken. Although the taste isn't really what makes people think that.
While the taste is mild like chicken, it's the color, texture and consistency of the meat which is very similar to chicken that makes people think that.
It's a comfort thing - people are so freaked out about eating an animal they're not familiar with eating, they get comfort by equating it with a meat that's "acceptable" to eat.
But in the big world of animals - what's so different that makes eating a cow and chicken "acceptable" and not a frog? Why is eating the insides of a shrimp okay, but not an amphibian?
I'm not a vegetarian, just pointing out the irrational fear we have of the unfamiliar.

You can also try plenty of healthy vegetables and fruits. Please leave the frogs alone. There is plenty of chicken to eat and many choices for you decide on. Let the frogs keep on jumping and eating bugs. Actually frogs legs taste like frogs legs , yuck. I tried them once just to taste them and have never wanted them since.

They are pretty gross. If someone tells you it tastes like chicken, then stick with chicken.

Kind of....but only when they are fried. If prepared differently, they do have a more unique taste.
