Lately I have become a believer of the saying "nice guys finiah last." I am a city boy going to school in a rural area of Wisconsin and have meet a lot of attractive, nice, fun, intelligent women. however, I always seem to find out that they are in a realtionship. I have meet many of the guys at parties, bars or in class. Everyone single one is a dirt bag that treats thier girlfriend like crap. I have been single now for 4 years and i just want to know why girls find this attractive in guys? Do I have to start acting like a complete slob and jackass to get a girlfriend?

Please do not start acting like that. There are too many as*sholes out there already. You need to understand it also works the other way. I have friends who have wonderful men but they treat their boyfriends like sh*it and he takes it. I always wonder why so many great guys put up with the nonsense. If a girl allows herself to be treated badly what does that say about how much she values herself? You do not want to be with a girl like that. So do not think of it as a loss. If a girl takes sh*it from her boyfriend when you get together with her she will treat you like sh*it because girls like that do not think they deserve to be treated well. So if they are not abused they will abuse. Stay the way you are so you can attract a woman who will treat you the way you treat her.

No you definitely should not start acting like a complete slob and jackass to get a girlfriend. Maybe you shouldn't look so hard. Not all girls find that attractive. I'm a nice girl myself and I've never really had a b/f my entire life. I'm not going to give up and change who I am just because other guys don't find it attractive. You gotta have faith that you will find someone. What I want in a guy is he's gotta be attractive to me, fun, easy to talk to, and not care what everyone else thinks about him. I want to find a guy who acts the same way around his friends as he does w/me. Good luck!

No please don't change who you are to suit anyone. I am a woman who has been lucky enough to find a good guy. He was hurt so bad in his previous relationship . He actually thought the way you did , but I am glad he didn't let it change his sweet nature. If a girl can't appreciate you for the wonderful guy you are, then she isn't worth you worrying about much less dating. There are many good, sweet women looking for equally good, decent men. Your girl will come along. You may come across some real losers in your search, but life is like that. Just take it in stride and keep it moving. Good luck and I think you are a really nice guy. Because women like to feel that they are saving someone. Sort of like taking in a stray animal.. Once they have this type of man, sooner or later they get bored with him.. They feel nice guys can be ran over and manipulated.. They get bored with those types, and like their man to be dominant. They also seem to like to have a man they can complain about to their girls.. A lot of times women don't know what they want...We just have to live with it or find one who likes you for you.
