Seems to me not many people talk about the possibility of whether he got married or not. Some say he was married. And yes, if he had an obligation to carry out for the world he would have left his wife to do it. However being unmarried does not mean you are a child molester, many child molesters are married.

Are you talking about Jesus the man or Jesus the mystic? I think that Jesus was married and through his marriage he showed good examples of how a marriage can be. Please take a theology class it could really open your mind. That is what I did.

Not being married doesn't me, he was a child molester. Child molesters have a real sickness that can not be cured, even if they wanted to be cured.

Are you mistaking Jesus with the Catholic Priests?

Your question implies that all men are either married or pedophiles... there are some men that are neither... This third group may or may not include Jesus.

1) In the Bible there is no specific reference to Jesus being married, hence all conversation regarding His marital status is pure SPECULATION. Yes He attended a wedding in Cannan, and His mother, Mary was concerned about available beverage (He took care of that in what is His first recorded miracle)... this may or may not have been His own wedding...

2) He personally said, "But whoso shall offend one of these little ones,.. it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea." If there is anything that is offensive to a child, it would be to molest them... So, nope, He doesn't sound like a child molester to me...

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? What does that have to do with anything? There was never any suggestive accusations that Jesus molested children! Just because He never got married doesn't mean he molested children! How does that even tie together?
He was perfect, God in flesh, without sin!

What a stupid question!

you are making leaps where none exist.

how do you get to this conclusion?
turn Jesus into a child molester by suggesting he never got married
How does his not being married make him a molester?
NOTHING IS CONNECTED IN YOUR ANALOGY

a married man can be a molester

Many of the claims people make of Jesus are pure wishful thinking on their part.

Our faith is important to us. Why try to create unrest amongst us by saying Jesus was a child molester? The bible didn't say he was married so I'm going with the idea that he wasn't. It doesn't matter to me either way.

I think it's odd how we get caught on the topics that have little significance. What about Jesus' sacrifice on the cross? What about the miracles he did?

It is not a suggestion that Jesus did not get married if you are speaking of the biblical Jesus.

And, simply because someone has not gotten married doesn't mean that they are a child molester. That is faulty logic if I've ever heard it.

The reason we do not believe that is because Jesus has one Bride which is the Church, his collective Body.

After reading several answers to this question it appears that the confusion is between the "Idea" of Jesus Christ the Savior of Humankind and the physical Jesus of Nazareth the Jewish Rabbi who was as human as the rest of us. He did pass through the loins of an earthly woman, gentlemen. That makes him human no matter who his father was. That was the lesson, that the human flesh could become Divine. That is THE IDEA. Meld the two into the whole truth. He could not have died if he weren't human. And he could not have arisen if he were not Divine. As far as his sexual life... I think you might be missing the point on both counts. Why are we so hung up on just one of the immortals? What about Buddha, Vishnu, and the others who came to earth to explain and be earthly examples that divinity was and is a real possibility. Yes, even for we lowly mortals.

I've never been married. Are you calling me a child molester? ",{ Some people are perfectly comfortable being celibate. It is my understanding that Jesus was a jew. Every good jew is supposed to be married. Sex and marriage is only considered dirty and evil because of religious manipulation. Of course a person who preached universal love would experience all of it he could.

Say what? where in the world did you get the impression Christ married or that He was a child molester? Because He said "Suffer the little children to come unto me?" I gotta tell ya---you are walking round the deep end of the pool and you left your water wings at home. Be careful not to fall into the water. All that hate is gonna weigh you down......Can you expound on your question cos some of us are scratching our heads thinking "SAY WHAT?"
