That is the silver wedding anniversary. I would get a silver picture frame and a gift certificate for them to get a picture taken. That way they can choose what kind of pic; they may want just the two of them, they may want the entire family.

i think a gift certificate would be great also a scrap book of pics from the time they met Nil now.... for instance have a picture of your dad with a caption under it such as"this is (dads name) at (age)years young, long before he met mom. Then on the next page have a picture of your mom and pput "this is mom at (age), Long before she married dad." Then on the next page ut something like " this scrapbook was designed to celebrate Their 25th wedding anniversary, on which i would like to congratulate them both" continue by putting whatever you want. Make sure to include pics and captions of their time engaged, wedding, reception, pics of your mother preg. with you kids, etc... its your scrap book... just have fun while doing it I'm sure it will mean something to them... also have a page in it that each member of the immediate family designed..let each kid in the family draw a picture and write a note and each adult write a little letter.. I'm sure they will love it. Good luck with the project.. hope u like my idea... and congrats to your parents

How about a hotel room, tickets to a movie, and a gift certificate for dinner. Don't forget to give them a homemade card.

Check your local Civic Center's calander, and see if anyone is appearing that they would be interested in seeing, like a singer or comedian. Treat them to a nice dinner and the show. I took my parents to see "Late Nite Catechism," and they loved it.
