I'm originally from Italy and although I can't speak Sicilian dialect, I can tell there's no difference in the pronunciation of the name "Cipriani". It's not a Sicilian word, it's an Italian last name and you read it "Chee-pree-ah-nee". Sicilians read it the same way. Actually, you read Sicilian dialect just like you would read standard Italian. Ex. "figghiu" ("son" in Sicilian) is pronounced "feeg-yoo" the same way you would pronounce it if it was a standard Italian word.
I guess in the game they just pronounce it the American way.

It's just been americanized. Like the Celtics. I don't pronounce my italian last name properly either because it sounds pretty silly with an american accent. Sicilians would still say 'ch' , although I thought it would be pronounced "chip"...

All names have been americanized. That's why people pronounce the name "Wagner" with a W when it should make the V sound in German.
