If anything it works the other way. As long as employers can take advantage of an illegal work force who they can pay very little and NOT SUPPLY BENEFITS, then it gives legal people less leverage to impact their wages and benefits.

Why is always Mexicans when we are talking about illegals? They come from all Countries.
But when you are talking the minimum wage. Do you ever think that is not only because of Illegals, what about all the companies in the United States that are sending the work to other countries for very little pay. Is that not taking away work for people here in this Country? So to me I would think that the GOV, should do something about that. They go into all these other countries and try to get these people to live the right way, When they need to be dealing with there own country and the people in it.

No, inflation made the minimum wage go up. 'Uninvited guest workers' help raise our taxes though.

You gotta be kidding me. Why hire an expensive American laborer that only wants to have an livable wage, when I can hire a illegal for pennies on the dollar??? If the illegals don't like getting paid sub-minimum wages, they can go back to whatever rock they crawled out from...
