I really think it depends on the person. I know some women that have no tolerance to the least little pain and cramps put them in bed for a week. Other women could have a leg cut off and keep going. The same goes for men.

women feel the pain more than men, but they have more tolerance of pain. I think this means men just act tough but women are really tough.

Seems like this would be no brainer, but I think women. We give birth, and men please don't even think you know what that feels like. The closest thing might be kidney stones. Every month we have our period and all the fun that comes with it. Women through the centuries have endured mass rapes during war times. The physical pain alone is enough but the mental pain from it lasts a lifetime I'm sure. Don't mean to sound like I've chip on my shoulder, but it's a man's world.....for now.

Men are emotionally stronger(most of the time) and they can open the mayo jar and pick up heavy stuff but when it comes to pain women are stronger. I mean, God let us have the babies for a reason. If it was men, we would have to rub their feet and pamper them all the time. haha...Women definately have a higher tolerance for pain!!!

Clincally, men and women deal differently with pain - and its pretty
hard to label one as "better" or "worse."

Yes, women deal with labor, but men are far more likely to subject
themselves to other means of great pain (war, etc.).

In hospitals, the classic "Watch this guy, he's going to faint" is a
light skinned read haired male. Don't take blood around them, don't
talk about autopsies, etc.

However, guys are constantly getting far worse injuries than women
typically get by nature of their jobs - getting caught in threshers, etc.
This is yet another reason why men die earlier than women. It is
considered "par for the course" (as is labor for a woman). If they
deal with it philosophically, surely they are dealing with more pain
(on average) than a woman...

Yes, ladies, losing your leg is worse than labor.
Yes, gentlemen, labor is worse getting kicked in the groin.

When surrounded by sympathetic women, yes, men will tend to show
pain more than they have to - but not surrounded by other men.

Different circumstances, different audience, different results.
