Totally true. My husband and I were together for 5 1/2 years, broke up for 2 1/2 years, then got back together last June (2005) and just got married June 17, 2006. I was the one that broke up with him and had to date all the losers to realize he was the one for me. He just waited for me to come back, and I did! :-)

Well, it worked for me. My husband and I started dating when I was 17 and he was 20. We dated for only 1 month, but I really liked him. There was something about him that made him different from all the other guys I dated. We ended up breaking up after the month because he was moving away to work and 1 month wasnt long enough to keep us together while he was going to be gone. He also had much more on his mind and said he felt too distant from me to make something more of what we had going. I was upset, but figured it just wasnt meant to be. About 14 months later we got back together. He said he had been thinking about me for months, but didnt want to try talking to me because he knew I was mad at him. (he broke up with me less then 1 month before he was supposed to go to prom with me) He finally started talking to me and I gave him a chance because by that time I was past everything and I still liked him. He asked me to move in with him 1 month after we got back together, 2 months after I moved in with him he asked me to marry him and 5 months after he asked me to marry him we got married. We have been married for over a year now and I love him more then anything in this world. He says he loves me even more then that. Now I know he was mine from the start and he'll always be mine. Not often does love give a second chance with the same person so I know we have something special.

Absolutely! You cannot love in a one way relationship. It takes 2 to tangle! If that special someone loves you; they will stay by you through out all that life throws your way.
