Category c repair is fine, just get it checked over by the aa or rac. Check the chassis numbers match all over the car, check the tyres for even wear and tear, check for rust in the usual places, under the wheel arches etc, make sure all the electrics work, if its had a new drive shaft fitted, make sure you go round plenty of hard corners to check its fitted correctly and not knocking.

If its a genuine deal, the seller can show you the log book, mot, any service history etc. If its a dealer ask to see a copy of the hpi report and a copy of the repair report or receipt. You want to make sure the suspension was repaired 100% correctly, they should have a copy of all the results of post-repair testing available for you to see.

I think the price is too high, but you havent said what engine size it is, this obviously makes a difference. check out www.autotrader.co.uk for comparison. take copies of any comparable cars you find so you can haggle with the dealer to get the price down.

Things like air con and full electric windows make a difference in price, but not that much.

The mileage seems low. Look at the rubber on the accelorator and brake pedals - how much wear has it had? if its well worn, its probably done more mileage than indicated the car has probably had the clock fixed. if the pedal rubbers are brand new, this is also a sign the seller could be hiding the true mileage.

If its genuine mileage, then it will probably only have had one or two owners. The log book will tell you how many owners its had. A lot of owners would indicate it should have a higher mileage.

All the best!

Find out the retail and trade prices of a normal car of that age and mileage. If the damage has been repaired to first class standards you should pay at most The TRADE price but preferably less. Oviously you have to assertain that the work on the car has been absolutely faultless and only a professional will be able to do this in this case. In other words this one of the instances where a third party RAC inspection is essential. I would in fact ask the seller to pay for this and if he shows any reluctance then it would be right to walk away. If your common sense inspection tomorrow doesn't reaveal anything untoward then you can ask the seller to pay for a more detailed RAC inspection ,then if the inspection comes out to your satisfaction and the price is right ,no problems.

Sure, Fixed with quality parts...You can always tell if you test drive for a long time...Take your time getting the feel of the car and do not let a saleman or whoever rides with you make you take a quick trip. This is usually a ploy for you not to find out that the car has problems...

is it the '888' edition? if not a straight one can be had for a lot less than that.
if it drives well and been repaired properly by an approved repairer then go for it.
phone up the last owner and ask them what the actual damage was and why they didnt have the car back.

If it is Cat C then it must be VIC tested at an approved VOSA station before a new V5 is issued.
It will be noted on the V5 that this has been done and then there will be no problem. (does tend to devalue the car though)
If it has not been done then insist that the seller has it done before you touch it........costs about £40 (ish)

Sins are defined in the Holy Bible so if what you're doing isn't indexed why difficulty? regardless of if..... for the reason that GOD knows the destiny and able to understand someone's heart..why could you not bypass to Him for education and determination of a mate? Asking GOD'S Will in each and everything you do is wise and prudent. it is going to guard you in the present and destiny. performing GOD'S Will (commandments) is yet differently of retaining your self from the devil. GOD says to not be unequally yoke. it is utilized to marriage, corporation companions (whom don't think) etc. there is not something extra undesirable than to be united with somebody who has a demon. you have not any thought!! (this contains marriage, corporation arraignments etc.) I went into regulation Enforcement. GOD allowed me to do it yet as quickly as in He gave me an ultimatum. I had to come to a decision on between serving Him or serving the equipment (worldwide). I chosen Him. he's been retaining me and performing miracles ever for the reason that. Had I chosen to serve the worldwide (turn my returned against GOD) that would've been the terrific sin in the worldwide! What sin? Loosing eternal existence with Him! James 4:4 ¶ You adulterers and adulteresses, do not you already know that fellowship with the worldwide is enmity with God? Whoever for this reason must be a chum of the worldwide makes himself an enemy of God.

It could be like a cut and shut job so be very careful you could be driving down the road one day and your car may fall apart be careful i know it cheap but is your life worth that amount or is it worth more, its your choice at the end of the day.

seems like everyone else had the right idea.
BUT if you really like the car get it inspected by a professional before putting in an offer.

RUN, don't walk! away from the thing. Unless you really want it. Expect the unexpected, and remember we told you so.
