If this relationship seems so reasonable, then why would it be left out of the bible. Yes, there was a perfect man, He hung on the cross for our sins, and if He could refuse satan's other temptations, why would he give in to lust with a woman?

The gnostic writings were destroyed because the were not valid, they were writings of people who did not witness Jesus' ministry on this earth. Just like the later supposed gospels, being written-not found- hundreds of years after Christ died. I would not count them as an accurate account, they were not included, because as the bible says, not one word will be added or taken away without God.

why do some people want to believe that jesus was perfect and omnipotent? would his ideas be any less valid if he were a normal guy who had a wife and family?
the gnostic gospels were not destroyed for inaccuracy. (by the way who's to say they're inaccurate) they were destroyed because they conflicted with how the early christians wanted to portray jesus. i.e., the perfect being that you seem to worship. your version of christianity is the one that caught on. and history is written by the winners, not the losers. so they omitted things that were not convenient to their message.
but again i ask, does it really matter that jesus had a wife and family? if there was suddenly inidisputable proof of that fact would you find his message any less valid? no, of course not. so go on believing the way you see fit and let others believe the way they see fit.
and by the way, the gnostic gospels were written by the disciples of christ. barnabus, thomas, mary magdalene, judas, etc. how can you think that only matthew, mark, luke, and john got the story straight? they're all correct but theyre also a personal reflection of the individual who wrote them. each had their own experience wih jesus and interpreted his teachings differently.

in judging if there was a crime committed, there must be credible witnesses or the evidences should be beyond reasonable doubt. But if this are absent, yet a crime was indeed commited, jugdement can be based on circumstantial evidences, meaning, a person was last detected at that time or other tell tale signs.
As to jesus and mary magdalene, why is mary madalene together with the other marys (jesus's mother and aunt) at the crucificion site when it is not allowed in the jewish tradition that unrelated women view the naked bodies of the oppossite sex . Surely, mary magdalene was not a blood relation, she then is the wife.

well, it is some of both, and the bible was not written by jesus or god, but by man, and no man is perfect, and all men want people to see everything their way, not another. the fact that mary magdelene was the most prominate female in his adult life would symbolize that jesus had some sort of relationship with her. also if you were to think back to that time, a woodcutters son would not have had disiples if he was not married, for that matter no one would have if they were not married, because for a single man to be seen everywhere with 12 other men was ludicris, and meant that these men were gay, and then, like today, homosexuality was shunned.

It seems that the purpose of Christ fills the role of accessing god through human form. There are countless "personal relationships" with Jesus Christ that people depend on. It's only natural for people to imagine WWJD in a relationship. Mary Magdalene conveniently fits the role of Jesus' girlfriend if you had to imagine Jesus in a relationship to gain insight into your own. WWJD mentality imagines you and Jesus in everyday situations making moral decisions. It seems incredibly easy to take our idea of Christ beyond the Gospel, particularly with current evangelical approaches.

I think it ridiculous not to believe that Jesus probably had a love interest. He is a man after all. God's only human begotten son through a virgin, but still a man! I can't believe people think that the Virgin Mary continued to be a virgin after she gave birth to Jesus. She was married and she had human needs as did her husband. It is only reasonable to believe that Joseph and Mary had more children. You should read this site. It answers many questions.

The writings of the Gnostic Christians, that were almost completely destroyed by the Church of Rome, told of it. the most complete of the Gnostic writings is the Nag Hammadi Library. But keep in mind, Gonstics were also Jews, and Samaritans

If you notice, there is very little written about the life of Jesus between the manger and the cross. Some people believe that because Jesus was Jewish, and the Jewish custom was to marry and have children, that Jesus must have done so.

Maybe because its TRUE. you hear about priests molesting little kids all the time, are you trying to turn jesus into a child molester by suggesting he never got married?
