I dated a few 4.0 (or near) college students and while their grades weren't remotely a concern of mine it should have been a clear sign to me that they were far more ambitious and motivated than I am. So, if I met another woman with a 4.0 I would have to wonder if she's all work and no fun, though I don't think that would stop my from dating her.
Perhaps that's the issue you're facing. If everyone knows what an excellent student you are than it's likely that you and the guys you're hanging out with are taking this all much too seriously. I recommend you stop talking about school, if someone asks you change the subject to music, or sports or whatever. Cut loose a little and show these guys that straight A students can have a good time. Unfortunately not every guy values intelligence, and most are terrified by ambition, but just about everyone of either gender wants to be with someone fun.

Honey, there will always be men AND women alike threatened and/or insecure by a girl with brains (especially more intelligent than they are). Now, I'm assuming you're in high school. If that's the case things WILL change dramatically in college. If you ARE in college, don't worry about it. We all meet a ton of guys that are the wrong guys before ever meeting the right ones. Important thing is, don't worry about it. Keep your head high and remember that anyone that deserves to date a girl like you will be proud and expect that you would do your best at everything you try. You have a gift that many of us envy. Surround yourself with people that make you want to excel and feel good about the gifts that God gave you. And congratulations on your GPA. Your parents must be VERY proud:)

I find that the GPA thing is only a big deal if you let it. Why even tell him that you have a 4.0, who does that help except maybe making you feel a little better knowing he knows, but why brag about it? He should like you for who you are as a person not about what grades you have, how much you make, what you're good at with sports or anything...In the long run none of that matters if you're not compatible to begin with.

Impossible question to answer really because each guy is different...as all women are different. A lot of my friends are turned off by girls with low GPAs because they want a woman that is intelligent and can hold up their end in a conversation. I know a lot of other guys that are turned off by a woman that is intelligent because that means they have to work harder to um "seal the deal" if you will. I think the real question should be do I want to date guys that are affected by my GPA.

Only if they want a "dumb" girl so they can feel smart. Some men are intimidated by intelligent women because they feel the need to be the "smarter" one in the relationship. Don't let this bother you - you are smart and you will find someone who is on your level and who will challenge you intellectually.

No intelligence is a big turn on, what men are turned off by is the ********* and the sulnity that these young ladies have. You can be a 4.0 student and goofy and naughty at the same time...
Good luck!!!

My girlfriend has a 4.0 GPA and i don't, but we're fine. I don't have a problem with her having a higher GPA. I'm proud of her for working harder than me and being that determined. I love her to death.

If you are a 4.0 on a scale of 1-10, thats why guys wong go out with you. We don't really care how "smart" you think you are..because lets face it.. girls are stupid. Your vagina is the hole your brain fell out of.
Guys wont go out with you because:
1) you're ugly
2) you don't put out
3) you don't give good h.e.a.d.
4) any combo of the above.
Hope I helped enlighten you.

Don't waste your time with idiots that want to use you. You have worked hard for your grades so don't think you have to be nice to them and share answers. Find a better crowd to hang with and enjoy yourself. Good Luck, oh one more thing there are a lot of intelligent, loving, caring, respecting, romantic studs around...keep your eyes open (-;
