Harry Greb was one of the original tough guys. He didn't carry a big punch but he was dirty as hell. He gave Gene Tunney his first loss. Ketchell was one of the great middleweights he fought Johnson and cut a deal to go the distance but got cute and tried to knock him out and Johnson gave him the hiding of his life. I'd go for Greb. He was tough.
