I have five weasels that live near my house. I want to capture them if I could use them to power my small canoe. A small harness could be made. I could still paddle a little...or steer.

More than 5. Also I do not know what your canoe size or your weight is. I think there is probably some government form you would have to fill out to use wild animals as a means of transportation, even if you are being careful. I think you would need about 15.
