I think that you basically get for what you pay for. My youngest daughter goes to her childminder at 8am who then takes her to school and picks her up when she's finished. I collect her at 6.30 each night and I pay £66.00 each week. For this she also gets her tea.
In the school holidays I pay £125 for Monday through Friday. I give her a packed lunch as she goes out virtually every day. Her childminder is one of the best I know [we've had two others in the past]. So if you're looking for a childminder, don't always necessarily choose the cheapest. It's quality, not quantity. And good luck!

This Varies from Private to Government Run (that you still need to pay in) - and then from region to region.
We pay (and we're in Scotland)
£5 an hour for a babysitter at night (she'll bathe our 2 kids, and put them to bed)
Nursery is £80 for 12 hours - but this includes their lunch on 3 days.
I wish there was a website for babysitting jobs - but the problem is not having the person checked out.
We have a 14yr old that looks after them once they are in their beds, and we give her £10 for the night.
