Dear Blue,

Thank you for the nice question. The seven stars represent the seven angels who enter and serve before the Lord. Tobit12:15. "For I am the angel Raphael, one of the seven, who stand before the Lord." Apocalypse 1:20. "The mystery of the seven stars, which thou sawest in my right hand and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches. And the seven candlesticks are the seven churches."

History holds that four of the angels names have been revealed to us. Raphael(afore mentioned), Michael, Gabriel, and Uriel. To the best of my knowledge, the other three are unnamed, so far.

Embrace the Grace,

The 7 stars are the angels of the 7 churches to which the letters were written. The angels are said to represent the pastors or leaders of those churches.
