See http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14043725/from/RSS/ to see cute little Midge. Read the article and tell me what you think about it and Midge.

In response to ragapple...I think in ways Midge would be less vulnerable. Little dogs are harder to catch than bigger dogs. You try it once and you will see what I mean.

In response to Babie Girl...I know that Midge is not doing drugs, and I never said she was. Are you all up there upstairs...did you even take time to read the article at the web link, duh?

BTW Barbie Girl, Midge is a 'she' not a 'he'. You sure didn't read the article did you.

It's fine. Almost any dog has a good enough sniffer to find drugs - they question is, are they determined enough to keep working for hours. A drug dog is never sent into harm's way with a dangerous suspect. Many agencies use Beagles and other smaller dogs - especially in airports where they don't want to frighten the public. Beagles are often used as termite detection dogs by exterminators.

Umm...that dog isnt doing drugs FYI. That dog is sniffing to see where there are drugs because he works with the police. I knew about this when i was in first grade!

biggest problem I could see would be she would be more vulnerable to being harmed by a suspect.
