Warranty? Forget it. Most of the time upkeep may not be wanted till AFTER it expries. And plus, those vehicles are fairly trustworthy and will serve you for the following 6+ years in case you maintain it in well form. Go with the Camry they're extra trustworthy than the Honda, and I'm now not pronouncing the Honda is unreliable. Plus the Honda has extra miles, and it is a V6. Only the four-cly items from Toyota and Honda are well. v6 engines are so-so. Milage does not subject alot, it is the yr. I've received a 2010 Chevrolet with 110k on it, runs like new. Where as my historical ninety nine' subaru(ppl say it is trustworthy) with 70k has a nasty engine.

most of the newer cars all get pretty good gas mileage if you are looking for something sporty the honda is a good choice if you are looking for gas mileage and dependable without much trouble the toyota will be better the bigger the car the worse the mileage

The best advice that I can give you is to either take a mechanic along with you or once you have narrowed your search, then take the car to a reliable mechanic before you purchase the car.

If the person you are purchasing the car from will not let you take the car to a mechanic before you buy it, then don't buy the car.

Good Luck.

toyotas are very good cars to buy as used cars. you can often put 200,000 miles on them and have them still be in good condition. my family bought a toyota 4runner for my brother about a year ago and it has been great. if you want good gas mileage look more towards the corrola.

it may also be a good thing to run a carfax on the car you want just to make sure it hasn't ever been in an accident

i would recommend all front engine rear wheel drive fords, Mercury's, Lincolns,or merkur which are all ford products like ford mustang, tbird, fairmont, ltd, ltd 2,zepher,cougar,"80'scapri not front wheel drive model",merkur xr4ti & ford ranger if you want economy suggest 2.3 four cylinder real solid engine gets incredible gas mileage. i only buy similar ive had same cars for years virtually trouble free & when they do break the parts are cheap a ford starter costs between 20-40$ altenator same price ive bought a nissan starter that costs 160$ & imports/front wheel drives harder to work on so labor costs you more i also want to say i have freinds who have spent thousands & thousands on 5 front wheel drive cars including a brand new pontiac grand prix which broke twice in 6 months they have traded 1 peice of junk after another costing thousands while im still driving my same cars that none of which cost me more than 800$ to buy/build

Beware of new paint jobs! They might be trying to conceal rust or body damage, so insist on getting a copy of the vehicle's accident/repair history. And check underneath the car for corrosion with a flashlight.
