Scripture also says, 'YOU are gods'. But then, god can also be translated as 'judge'. So yes, God is the God of judges and kings. You really need to look at the Bible in context, which requires an understanding of history.

We get Confused by the word god.
"god" mean's that you have the Authority to Chose the Word's you want to Speak.
A "god" is not The CREATOR.
The CREATOR is a GOD. ( All capital letter's for CREATOR)
People are God's in that they can chose their own Word's to Speak. People are not The CREATOR.
Angel's were not given the Authority to Chose to Speak their own Word's. Satan did this and got Kicked out of HEAVEN.
The CREATOR call's satan the god of this EARTH, cause he is still chosing to speak his own word's.
The CREATOR===GOD
Human Being's===God's
satan===god of this EARTH at this time, you don't have to follow his word's if you don't want to.
Resist the Devil and he will Flee.

btw, "suspendor" is right (his answer below). more, in the Bible Satan himself is called a "god"(greek, theos) (2 Chr 4:4). "maguyver727" is wrong, there were no capital and noncapital letters in the original greek and hebrew text. those were added depending on the translator's understanding.
