Is it because you are bored? Do you really dislike each other as much as it sounds? Why is even the nicest comment made to look insulting? Then in the end you all want to impress everyone that you are really intelligent. Isn't the intelligent person the one wise enough to accept others as they are? Peace

Dear Brenda, you truly do live in your own world. All the people of this planet who help each other with food, money, time, caring, experience, strength and hope. The reason we know right from wrong is basicily from the 10 commandments. In communist countries they don't allow religion maybe you might be happier there. I will admitt their are people of all religions who are intolerant but there are people like that everywhere, whether religious or not. You of course are intitled to your opinion because we live in USA but you are using the same kind of thinking Hitler used. Please stop and think if that is how you really see the world and the people in it. Peace.

Dear Theresa Rose: It's FEAR. Fear of not being "cool," ; it's the "back is up" like on a cat when it suddenly feels itself insecure. Insecure as to what to say. . .hiding it's limitations behind the arched back of the cat!
It's fright - due to each other. Wanting acceptance and thinking the "cool" flippant remark makes them acceptable - they feel sharp and "with it."
There is a different way of relating to each other. But it takes courage. Great courage. Defenses have to come down. It begins with a trembling hand. No defenses. . .. This thing I speak of is called a Holy Relationship.
In the teachings of Jesus, the Holy Relationship is the accumulation of His work inside of you. It is based upon perfect communication. Perfect, means here - without deceit. What you say is CONSISTENT with what you truly deeply feel and is CONSISTENT with your actions. Every level of thought spoken - feelings and actions align perfectly together. You do not say what you do not truly feel. You do not say what you do not truly act out.
Communication is raw and real and clean - fit for two holy Sons of God - within the context of gentleness. For that is what your true Nature is.
This causes communication of a purity - that each one may KNOW the other's soul. It offers everything the other is seeking by establishing a communion between them as pure and open and unlimited as your Reality. At Home, we are One Mind. Full communication floods through the one channel of Mind throughout the Kingdom. Spirit-Mind. All is known. All thoughts known. In their raw purity. Purity means heartfelt, and gentle. It is never off the "top of the head." Flippant.
Only the human EGO mind pollutes its thoughts.
One Holy Instant offered to a brother requires that you know yourself. This Holy Instant creates a Holy Relationship. For even here on earth, you are in a relationship with every being on the planet. The One-Mind is never out of operation. That is why you get a "sense" of each other. A feeling about each other. You are always Spirit.
One moment - of any relationship - turned over to a real communication, establishes a Holy Relationship here on earth.
Think upon this. May it be profitable toward your contemplation.

Religion is the reason people are so negative and violent. Religion is really just evil in disguise.
Religion is responsible for the majority of wars, conflict and murder of innocent life since humanity began. There is considerable evidence to classify religion as evil, and talk of religion (Gods etc) should be banned. Because the records prove over and over again throughout humanity that religion is clearly responsible for crimes against humanity, taking part in any religious activity should also be outlawed and made a criminal offence.
The world would be a much happier and peaceful place if religion ceased to exist. Although there are some decent religious believers and preachers, they are unwittingly spreading evil around our world, and that they should simply keep their beliefs and thoughts to themselves in the best interests of humanity, or suffer the consequences for their actions.
People should consider that the world would be like Heaven if religion ceased to exist, but all the believers and preachers have turned the planet into Hell.

Uh - excuse me, but aren't you just a teeny bit judgemental? I don't think your comments are positive ones - you sound really negative. And how many questions are we supposed to answer?
If you separate these questions I'll do my best to answer them the way you would like. I'm all for peace.
And I'm all for seeing a psychiatrist of my own choosing, so thanks for the free analysis, but it really wasn't necessary.

I've been wondering that. I speculate it's because of the age group of the majority of people on the site. Very few sound very mature.

Social change has dictated that we all have rights. We are so busy 'getting' our own rights we have lost the ability to 'give' our kindness and thought to others.
