Well....if you can bear the waste, fill a small glass with vodka-type alcohol, hold finger in the liquor as long as possible. It's very effective and you can use the same alc over and over, just cover the glass in between.

For numbing, use a xylocaine-based cream (no prescription needed) and take painkillers.

Try soaking your finger in very warm (but not boiling) water and put lots of iodized salt in. The salt is an antiseptic that can help clean out the infection. If its a closed infection already, try opening it once more and get rid of the pus inside. Try this method then take a painkiller as well as an antibiotic to stop the infection inside. After you're done, you need to apply or pour peroxide on the wound, then wash off the bubbles, try this for about 3-4 times. The put an antibiotic ointment, then bandage or band-aid. I had a friend who opened up a capsule of antibiotic and poured it straight into the wound.
