Like everyone else has said you would have to 'bleach' it. The process is called lifting. If you want to do it yourself there are different levels of lifters that you can get from your local Beauty Supply. . From low to high (there are about 3). The hue of pink that you will get is dependent upon the strength of the lifter. A lower lift is safer for your hair (though no type of lift is 'good'). You have to use deep conditioning (a separate 1 from your shampoo) after this treatment. I would recommend that you do this process in 2-3 days instead of in one sitting so that your hair has time to 're-coop'. Hope that helped.

If you really want to do it pink, go to a store and buy the cans of pink hair color and spray some on. It will be temporary and will shampoo out in 1 washing if you don't like it. I wouldn't do anything permanent.

First of all... Why would you want to do that.... but anyway, you need to bleach your hair of some of its color and then try it... I would go to a professional because you can really mess up your hair if you dont know what youre doing.

i have black hair, when i went to the parlor and told the lady i want to have a little highlights, she told me that if i'm willing to ruin my beautiful and shiny black hair, she can put bleach on it first before she can put any lighter color because the color won't work there while the black is still on it. So I told her, forget about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bleach it, than dye it. Ask a professional for help because I am not sure if it is healthy to do right after bleaching.

after hours of grueling stripping, bleaching, stripping and dyeing, your pinky hair will last about 1 shampoo.
And then it will break off.

DONT
DO
IT

You have to strip it first, and then apply the pink dye to your stripped hair. PLEASE HAVE IT PROFESSIONALLY DONE!
