Most of the answers are pretty close. A submissive guy is a guy who has the desire to give up control of some part of the decisions that he would otherwise have to another person, male or female, and sometimes more than one, known as Dominants. Usually this means that he will accept decisions made by their Dominant, such as to perform certain tasks or to dress in a particular way.
Submissiveness need not be overarching. A guy who is submissive to one person need not be submissive to anyone else. Also, a submissive may limit the level of how much or how often they give up this personal control. It all depends on how much the submissive offers and how much the Dominant accepts.
Submissiveness is also not a synonym for weakness or passivity. Indeed, for many men, it takes a great deal of courage to be willing to part with control and direct responsibility, something that they might have in their jobs or other activities. Unfortunately, they do often share a common source, but they are not the same thing.
Hope this answers your question.

Submissives as well as dominants, tops, bottoms, are terms used when talking about BDSM (bondage, discipline, sadism, masochism)
You can find more information on google.com by doing a net search. This is jsut another form of lifestyle, sometimes sexual, sometimes not. BDSM is all about power exchange.
