it was a joke, sorry... its not too much to want space, then you won't get tired of each other, or fight all the time. but also why cant people just ask for space when they want it?

A good time to ask for space is before someone is smothering you. If you're being smothered it's too late to ask.
But how will you know they about to smother you? Maybe they're just going to fluff up their pillow...

No be open and honest in a kind and caring way,No one wants to feel smothered,talk with your partner because if you do not you might loose the entire relationship

Giving one their own space and time is truly needed in any relationship. A person needs to have time to themselves to just be alone or with friends.
So it is not too uch to ask for some space !
