Um, buy Starbucks brand coffee? As a rule their coffee is bolder than most, especially your typical coffees like Folgers or Maxwell House. If you buy Starbucks brand coffee at a Starbucks, they can even grind it for your drip pot if you choose to continue to use it. However, if you have been using the same coffee maker for a long time and do wish to get the best taste, depending on how well you clean it, it might be a good idea to get a new one sense it is already seasoned. My best advice though: go talk to the Starbucks baristas.

Coffee brewing is an art, so ditch that mindless mechanical contraption you call a coffee machine!
First step to great coffee: choose a bean of your preference. The longer the beans are roasted, the more bitter the brew becomes. So ask around and taste a bit for a flavour you like.
Second step: Grind the beans to a certain size. Hard to teach someone this as it boils down to experience, but it should neither be too coarse (the flavour will be too mild) or too fine (strong coffee anyone?).
Third step: Filtering through the grind. Dump the first brew, it's meant more to activate the flavour of the beans. Now, you need to trial-and-error the amount and speed you filter water through the grind for the richest and most robust brew!
Last step: One's brew of choice is as unique as one's self. So add a sprinkle of nutmeg, some sugar cubes, a dash of whipped cream or whatever you like to your cuppa. This is where all the trouble you go through brewing your own coffee pays off!

Well, if you actually like their stuff... and want it to taste like starbucks... buy it from starbucks. Buy WHOLE BEAN, and grind it freshly right before you brew it. Never freeze or refrigerate coffee, it damages it. ground coffee is best only for 2 hrs after you grind it. Whole bean is best for 14 days.

Try this link and put "Starbucks" in the search box. It might not be exactly what you're looking for, but it might give you some ideas on different coffee drinks.
