I like this: Gin (preferably Tanqueray), club soda, ice, lime slice hanging off the side of the glass.

Margueritas are excellent (not the slushy kind, on the rocks, with salt is best).

Mojitos are fab in the summer.

1.5 oz BACARDI Rum
12 fresh spearmint leaves
1/2 lime
7 oz club soda
2 tbsp. simple syrup
(or 4 tsp. sugar)

Cosmopolitans are also very nice.

Depends what you like: sweet? (Cosmos & Mojitos), sour?(Margueritas), efficient, but neither sweet nor sour? The Tanqueray & Club w/lime.

Also: Rum runners--will knock you on your azz!

Shots are great too. Lemon Drops. Mmmmmmm.

There is a drink out there that is like a Long Island Iced Tea as far as having a lot of alcohol in it, but it has a great taste...it is called a "Blue Mother F*cker". They are wicked good. If they don't make those, then a good ole Long Island will do the trick.

Try Sangria, it's very easy and fine to drink but it's very strong.

The recipe :
- 40 % cheap red wine
- 40 % orange juice
- 20 % brandy or rum or something like that
and a lot of fruit to give more taste.

Put the Sangria in the fridge for a long time (12 hours).
Enjoy yourself !!

Spiced Rum and seven-up. You can get some really strong spiced rum and make about a 50-50 mix. It tastes like cream soda and will get you there quick.
