Get an injection tube and fill it with water. Then put it in his mouth in the side and make sure it goes behind his teeth. Then just squirt it into his mouth. He sould drink it. It's how vets do it with animals to make them take the medicine and they swallow it.

I had a similar problem. The vet told me to force feed the way you force feed a toddler medicine. Use a syringe, the bigger the better, maybe a 50 mls syringe, fill it up with water, force open her mouth, insert the tip half way into the mouth & squirt bit by bit. Preferably 2 to 3 mls per squirt. It'll take a long while but it works. Oh, & my vet says it's not advisible to add flavouring to the water coz she'll never want to drink plain water again. If you don't have a syringe at home, use a teaspoon. Just feed in small amounts so she won't get choked.

Well you can't really make a dog drink water when YOU want it to. One of my dogs hates to drink water in front of people. Maybe just put lots of water bowls around the house and just walk away. If she does not drink in about five days take her to the vet.
Also it helps maybe to soak some chicken in some water, let it cool then serve it up. So there will be some chicken flaver.
It helps ALOT.

Take her to the vet. Your mom is probably right, If the vet says there is nothing wrong( which I'm sure there is), then it's just a matter of waiting and watching. Some dogs do that. Good luck and I hope everything goes well!

Sadly the only thing you can do for this is either wait to see what the vet says, or you will have to force feed her liquids, I don't recomend this because it could be very easy for the dog to choke on the liquids you pour down the puppy's mouth but if push comes to shuve and your dog needs it, like a life and death situation, then that is what I recomend...the vet will have better answers I'm sure so just wait to see what he has to say.

you're on the right track.. keep the water fresh and the bowl clean and just wait.

you can't force it... unless you want to use a eyedropper for starts to get water into their mouth and work from there.

but the vet is a good idea... get the doggie there as soon as you can.
