I had a female golden lab and she had 5 litters in all. About 35 puppies . They were always golden lab mixed with something but didnt know what ..lol...but they were always adorable and displayed lab characteristics. I have a new pup and she is a mut. Nobody knows what she is but we love her. It's very different b/c I'm used to the lab pups , who double their size every two weeks. This one ...she is so tiny at 12 weeks but healthy. ..Anyway...just love your pup no matter what breed. Just like people ...doesnt matter whats on the outside !

If the mother is a mixed-breed then so is your puppy. I think you're lucky, mixed-breeds tend to be healthier than pure ones.

Therefore it is a mut. But don't let this bring you down. I've worked with dogs for many years and muts are great and they live longer than pure breeds.
