As long as you are in a passing zone and you can pass safely then you should be okay, however, i would check your states drivers manual or call the state troopers and ask just to make sure.. would hate for you to get a ticket

Check the drivers manuel, but I believe that is illegal in all states.

But I see people doing it anyways. I would never do that. You are going 70, someone else coming the other way is going 70.

140 mph closes real fast!

NO, UNLESS THE SIGNS SAY "NO PASSING MORE THAN ONE VEHICLE ON A TWO LANE ROAD!!!"
IF IT WAS AGAINST THE LAW ANYWHERE THEN YOU COULD NEVER PASS A CAR BEING TOWED....TOTALLY ABSURD!!!
WHERE DO THESE PEOPLE GET THESE LAWS THEY SAY THEY KNOW???

READ ON AND YOU CAN SEE ALL THE "SAFETY CONCIENCE AIRHEADS" QUOTE THE LAWS THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!!!.

In CA is it against the law (as unsafe passing) but it's done all the time

if the line that divides the two lanes is dashed, then you can pass when it is safe to do so.
