Wet his hair first and take a ball of mousse and apply on the wet hair. Braid them before they dry off. You may tie them with a rubber band or a ribbon at the end.

You're gonna get carpel tunnel tryin! You can get some beeswax gel but the best thing is to get it done professionally by someone with better trained fingers. My hand hurts just thinking about that. I've braided soft hair, too. Take the guy to a pro. You could find someone in the hood to do it for ten bucks. Just ask around. Peace.

my guy has the same kind of hair, put a little
pomaidon on your hands and work through damp hair, braid hair while damp. after while you and his hair should be able to handle it with out the pomaid, just takes practice.

use some gel on it. .and tighten the rubber band. .and make sure the rubber band you use is not currosive because there are some bands that are not smoothe that will damage your hair..
