Why has pinkhostess90 reported me for a perfectly normal question?

So sorry if you found the question offensive, but I think that was quite mild considering some.

Hmmm... I just found the question, it was about biting your nails and whether it's a form of self harm... I don't see why that should have been reported, like you said there is alot more worse questions here.

I don't know. I can't tell if the question is in your history of asked questions or not, because it might have been removed, but based on the ones there, I can't imagine that the question would have been offensive. Maybe pinkhostess90 knew the answer to the question already and was offended that someone else didn't. Or maybe that answer connoted something that was upsetting. Any chance you might send her a message asking why? ;-)

Don't bother about that sort of people. They just like to annoy others. You didn't do anything wrong, and if some body find it offensive they should stop using the internet all together and get into a convent.

and in answer to your question, some people tend to report others for no apparent reason i think! I got reported for asking people to make me laugh so you know...considering some questions and answers that are on here, I think that it was unfair! I also think Yahoo! should read the questions themselves, rather than relying on what people have complained about.

Check the link. There are plenty of people here who know they can't cut it on the quality of their questions or answers, but they think that if they drag the boards down far enough they will look good by comparison.
You get this on all boards. In fact you get it everywhere. People who know they will never be good so they just react by trying to make everybody else look worthless.

It is a good question that you asked.It seemed to me that you were asking was a bout nail biting.sometimes when I am really nervous,I unknowingly,will bite my finger nails down to the quick.Ouch,when I realize it,my fingers and finger nail nubs hurt so bad that I can't pick anything up.

She may have reported you under the heading of Harm or Harassment,thinking you were causing self harm.

Nails aren't meant to be bitten so surely you are mutilating yourself?

Maybe she thought you meant "bite nails" as biting the ones that are made of steel--or something. I have no friggin idea. Some people are just idiots.
