I once loved someone so much but from the start it was all a lie! She was pretty much cheating from day one but oh well. Now that I've moved on I want to love again but I'm afraid. I opened my heart to someone and they stomped on it. How do you get over the fear and trust again?

Yes, of course it's normal. If someone sees your heart laying at their feet and they stomp on it that would make anyone gun shy. You're wise to hold back some. Go slowly..let friendship grow slowly so that you really get to know each other. I don't know your age, that would make a difference in exact answers... Don't be in a hurry to "be in love", true love grows it doesn't 'just happen' overnight, not long lasting true love anyway.

Bro, I couldn't be more sympathetic

Women are always complaining about the men cheating, but Im finding it more hypocritical everyday. The only thing we really can do is hope for the best. Don't get too attached to anyone until you feel you can trust them. But being too afraid to move on will only put yourself in my situation for the past couple of years...

Move on bro... it's for the best

You really need to know someone really well before you start spilling stuff out. (That also happened to me) For now you just keep yourself busy but then be open. You know sort of like, 'not looking for love letting it find you' stuff.

That is a totally understandable feeling, i have been there! don't worry about just take things slow and you should be fine. But do not punish your future gf's b/c of your ex.
